This classic colonial home in Greenwich, Connecticut was constructed in 1924. The layout of this classic colonial is grand and expansive with multiple living spaces to entertain as well as unwind. Inspired by the homeowner’s love of art, Barrett Oswald Designs maintained the original broad wood floors as a base and detailed moldings while combing classic and natural textures throughout. These details included hand dyed linens, jute rugs and grasscloth wall coverings infused with a contemporary color scheme to add interest as well as dimension to the "canvas"of the home.

The firm incorporated darker woods and metals in the furniture to ground the larger spaces and in turn, create a sense of warmth and ease needed for everyday living.
